The Minister for Education, Honourable Aseri Radrodro officiated at a historic graduation ceremony at Nasinu Muslim College, celebrating the first cohort of students to complete the National Certificate in Fashion, Manufacturing and Design (Level 3) and the National Certificate in Carpentry (Level 3).

The Vocational graduation was attended by school board members, industry partners, and proud families who witnessed 31 students awarded National Vocational Certificate Level 3 qualifications in high-demand trades and creative fields.

In his keynote address, the Honourable Minister commended the graduates’ achievements and reaffirmed the government’s strong commitment to advancing Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Fiji. He urged the graduates to step forward as entrepreneurs, innovators, and leaders of change.

A notable highlight of the ceremony was the graduation of Nasinu Muslim College’s first female student to receive a National Certificate in Carpentry, representing a meaningful step toward gender inclusion in traditionally male-dominated trades.

As the graduates of Nasinu Muslim College step into the world with nationally recognized qualifications in hand, they carry more than just certificates they carry the hopes of their families, the promise of a more skilled workforce, and the potential to shape the future of Fiji.

The Ministry of Education remains steadfast in its mission, to build a nation where every young person, regardless of background, has access to quality, practical education that leads to real opportunity.

With determination in their hearts and tools in their hands, these graduates are not just ready for the workforce they are ready to lead, to build, and to transform Fiji.
