The Minister for Education, Honourable Aseri Radrodro, officiated the Cadet Passout Parade at Natabua High School, where more than 1,100 students took part after weeks of training and preparation.

Families, teachers, and invited guests gathered to support the students as they marched in formation, demonstrating discipline, teamwork, and commitment.

In his remarks, the Honourable Minister spoke about the importance of cadet training in helping students become responsible and confident leaders. He emphasised that cadetship teaches strong values such as respect, discipline, and service to others, values that are important both in school and in life.

The Honourable Minister also acknowledged the crucial role of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces, whose guidance and commitment ensured the success of the training, as well as the ongoing support from parents and teachers throughout the process.

Awards were presented to outstanding cadets, including Best Platoon, Best Commander, and Best Overall Cadet, in recognition of their hard work and leadership.

The Ministry of Education continues to support cadet programmes in schools as part of its commitment to developing strong, well-rounded future leaders for Fiji.
