The tour covered schools in the Naitasiri Province, Wainibuka, Ra, Ba-Tavua, Nadroga, and Navosa. Hon. The Minister also spoke about the need for school heads to understand how to request new classrooms or streams and the importance of training for school management.
The Minister’s visit also included the donation of library resources to schools, which was warmly received. The schools expressed their thanks for this support, which will help improve the learning environment for students.
The tour gave the Education Minister and his team a better understanding of the challenges faced by schools in these areas. Honorable Radrodro reassured everyone that the Ministry is committed to providing the support schools need, including better infrastructure and clearer processes.
The Minister’s visit was appreciated by teachers and students, who were grateful for the chance to share their concerns and get feedback. Many rural schools do not have opportunities to meet with the Minister, making this visit especially valuable for them.
The Honourable Minister’s visit assured that every student, no matter where they are, deserves access to a good education, and the Ministry will continue to work towards this goal.
