MINISTER FOR EDUCATION LEADS MINISTRY STAFF IN PAYING TRIBUTE TO LATE TEACHER JONE TURAGANIQALI
Education Minister, Honourable Aseri Radrodro, led the Ministry of Education staff to the reguregu for the late Jone Turaganiqali, a dedicated teacher who served the education sector for 26 years.
Mr. Turaganiqali, originally from Wairiki, Bua, with maternal links to Gau, was a long-serving teacher at Sawani Primary School. He was well-respected by both his colleagues and students for his commitment to education and his significant contribution to shaping young minds.
The Minister, Honourable Radrodro expressed deep appreciation for the late teacher’s dedication to education and his tireless service to the community. Honourable Radrodro highlighted the importance of honoring those who have devoted their lives to the education of Fiji’s youth and reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to continuing the work of educators like Mr. Turaganiqali, who played a pivotal role in nurturing future generations.
The reguregu was attended by Ministry of Education staff, as well as Lautoka Teachers College (LTC) graduates from the 1998-1999 cohort, many of whom worked alongside Mr.Turaganiqali during his distinguished career. The Ministry’s delegation paid their respects and offered condolences to his family during this time of mourning.
