ACTING PERMANENT SECRETARY OFFICIATES AT VEIUTO PRIMARY SCHOOL PREFECTS INDUCTION CEREMONY

The Acting Permanent Secretary for Education, Ratu Meli Nacuva, officiated at the Prefects Induction ceremony at Veiuto Primary School today.

To grace this prestigious occasion, the Prime Minister, Hon. Sitiveni Rabuka, and the Minister for Education, Hon. Aseri Radrodro, were present.

This year, Veiuto Primary badged 62 students, including 30 girls and 27 boys. Acting PS Mr. Nacuva recognized the leadership qualities of the new Prefects. He highlighted the responsibility of being a Prefect and urged the students to support their fellow peers and teachers while maintaining respect and fairness.

Acting PS Mr. Nacuva also congratulated Veiuto Primary School for its outstanding 87% pass rate in the Year 8 Fiji Year Eight Examination 2024. He acknowledged the students, teachers, and parents for their hard work and dedication, and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence.

Acting PS Mr. Nacuva expressed gratitude to the teachers for creating an environment where students feel encouraged to do their best. He wished Veiuto Primary School all the best for the 2025 academic year, hoping it would be filled with continued success, growth, and achievement.
