The Coalition government’s investment in boats and engines is part of a broader effort to provide equal opportunities for all children, regardless of where they live.
“The Ministry of Education continues to prioritize the needs of students in remote areas. We have invested heavily in providing boats, engines, and transport assistance to ensure every child has access to quality education.”
Fueling and maintenance of the boat will be funded through the Free Education Grant (FEG), while the school’s management will be responsible for ensuring the boat and engine remain in good working condition.
