MINISTER FOR EDUCATION CONGRATULATES NEWLY INDUCTED PREFECTS AT REWA SECONDARY AND ST JOSEPH’S PRIMARY SCHOOL

The Minister for Education, Honourable Aseri Radrodro, congratulated the newly inducted prefects of Rewa Secondary School and St Joseph’s Primary School at their Prefects Investiture ceremony today.

In his opening remarks, Hon. Radrodro, congratulated Rewa Secondary School for their excellent exam results, with 100% pass rate in Year 13 and 89% in Year 12.

The Minister, Hon. Radrodro, highlighted the importance of leadership, congratulating the 21 prefects from St Joseph’s Primary School and 36 from Rewa Secondary School. He reminded them that being a prefect comes with big responsibilities and expectations from their school community.

Honourable Radrodro, shared advice on being a good leader, emphasizing the importance of making firm decisions, being honest, and staying true to their values. The Minister encouraged the prefects to do the right thing, even if it means standing up to peer pressure.

The Minister for Education, also spoke about the challenges the prefects might face, such as peer pressure and other student issues, and urged them to always lead by example and make positive choices.

Honorable Radrodro,expressed confidence that the new prefects would lead with integrity and inspire others. He is sure that the future of both schools is in good hands with these young leaders.
