MINISTER FOR EDUCATION CALLS FOR DISCIPLINE AND COLLABORATION AT RATU KADAVULEVU SCHOOL PREFECTS’ INDUCTION

The Minister for Education, Honourable Aseri Radrodro, was pleased to officiate the Prefects Induction for the first time at Ratu Kadavulevu School. It was also the first time for the Minister to enter the RSK Chapel and adorn the RKS Shirt.

Honourable Radrodro addressed the issue of discipline at RKS, stating, “The Ministry of Education is not in the business of tolerating indiscipline amongst your ranks. We expect the school management working in unison with the students, parents, guardians, with the school board of governors.”

Hon. Radrodro reminded the teachers and school management to work together, be vigilant, and always act in the best interest of the child.

A total of 92 students were officially inducted during the ceremony, which included Prefects, House Captains, Year level Captains, and Assistant Level Captains.

Hon. Radrodro concluded his speech with a quote by John Maxwell: “A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.”
