MINISTER FOR EDUCATION VISITS SCHOOLS TO REVIEW FEMIS UPDATES

Yesterday, the Minister for Education, Honourable Aseri Radrodro, visited two government secondary schools, Suva Grammar School (SGS) and Nasinu Secondary School (NSS), to discuss the importance of updating their FEMIS (Financial and Educational Management Information System) records.

Honourable Radrodro, met with the Heads of Schools at both schools to remind them about the need to regularly update their school profiles with information such as yearly financial details, school activities, assessments, and any requests they may have.

The information provided through FEMIS is very important for the Ministry of Education. It helps in making decisions, developing policies, and assessing areas where improvements are needed in schools. The Minister has made it clear that he will continue to monitor these updates and encourage schools to keep their FEMIS profiles up to date.

The Education Minister plans to visit more schools in the coming days to ensure that all schools are meeting these important requirements.
