MINISTER FOR EDUCATION VISITS SEAQAQA CENTRAL COLLEGE AND AHMADIYYA MUSLIM COLLEGE
Today, the Minister for Education, Honourable Radrodro, visited two secondary schools in the Northern Division, beginning with Seaqaqa Central College, followed by Ahmadiya Muslim College in Macuata. During these visits, the Minister held a Talanoa session with teachers from both schools.
The Minister reminded the teachers of their important role in nurturing students to become responsible citizens of tomorrow. Discussions focused on key issues such as teacher transfer requests, the review of rural and location allowances, requests for in-service leave, salary upgrades for long-serving teachers, and infrastructure improvements as requested by Heads of Schools.
The Minister assured the teachers that their concerns would be carefully considered.
