LAUNCH OF FIJI’S FIRST EVER GRADUATE BUSINESS START-UP GRANT SCHEME

Today, the Minister for Education, Honorable Aseri Radrodro, officially launched Fiji’s first-ever Graduate Business Start-Up Grant Scheme. This new initiative aims to support graduates with innovative business ideas by offering financial assistance, training, and capacity-building to help them start and grow their own businesses.

The program will equip participants with the confidence, skills, and knowledge needed to navigate the challenges of running a business. By offering a comprehensive package of financial support, training, and guidance.

Honorable Radrodro, acknowledged that the Graduate Business Start-Up Grant Scheme is managed by the Tertiary Scholarships & Loans Service (TSLS) and supported by the Fiji Commerce & Employers Federation (FCEF). The Minister thanked FCEF for providing important business advice and networking opportunities to the participants. He stressed the importance of working together, both the Coalition government and private sector, to create a strong environment for new businesses to grow in Fiji.

The Minister for Education, Hon. Radrodro also congratulated the 25 graduates selected for this program, offering his support and encouragement for their entrepreneurial journey.

The Graduate Business Start-Up Grant Scheme is a landmark initiative for Fiji, marking a significant step towards fostering entrepreneurship and driving economic growth.
