The staff of the Ministry of Education, led by the Permanent Secretary, presented a traditional reguregu to honor the late Akanisi Tamara Rarokoliwa Nasilivata at her home village in Deuba, Serua. Ms. Nasilivata was a dedicated member of the Ministry’s Finance Section, specifically in the Ledgers Department, where she served with distinction for over seven years.
Her journey with the Ministry began on 22 November 2016 as a Temporary Relieving Clerk in the Ledgers Unit. Over the years, her dedication and professionalism led to various appointments, including Acting Assistant Finance Officer and her recent permanent appointment as Assistant Finance Officer on 1 March 2024.
Ms. Nasilivata’s contributions were invaluable, and her commitment to the Ministry’s financial operations was deeply appreciated. Her passing is a great loss to the Ministry, her colleagues, and all those who knew her.
The Minister for Education extends his heartfelt condolences to Ms. Nasilivata’s family and friends during this time of mourning. Her legacy of service and dedication will always be remembered.
