EDUCATION MINISTER OFFICIATES AT THE INDUCTION PROGRAM FOR NEWLY RECRUITED TEACHERS

Today, the Minister for Education, Hon. Aseri Radrodro, delivered his keynote address at the Induction Program for newly recruited teachers joining the Ministry.

The program introduced teachers to the Ministry’s vision, policies, and operations. Presentations and deliberations at the induction was facilitated by the Learning and Development Unit (LDU), Human Resources, IT Unit, Curriculum Advisory Services, and other Ministry units. These sessions assisted the newly appointed teachers understand their roles, responsibilities, and the support available for them as they begin their career in education.

Honourable Radrodro, reminded the teachers of their important role in shaping the future of education and the country. He also encouraged them to be prepared for the challenges ahead and to focus on providing the best for the children they will teach.

The program ended with the presentation of certificates and appointment letters. The teachers also took their oath of service in the presence of the Honorable Minister, committing themselves to their responsibilities as educators.

The newly appointed teachers will report to their respective schools next week as the 2025 academic year commences on Monday, 27 January.
