NORTHERN DIVISION HOSTS GOVERNMENT HEADS OF SCHOOLS MEETING
Honorable Aseri Radrodro, Minister for Education, met with Heads of Government Schools in the Northern Division yesterday to set the stage for the 2025 academic year. This year, the Northern Division had the privilege of hosting this important meeting.
The meeting focused on reviewing key achievements from 2024, discussing challenges, and identifying priorities for improvement. Topics included external exam results, rising concerns such as drug use, and strategies to enhance student and teacher welfare, alongside overall school performance.
The Honorable Minister acknowledged the hard work and dedication of the Heads of Schools and emphasized their critical role in shaping the future of education. He encouraged them to aim higher in 2025 and challenged them to uphold the highest standards in their schools.
Presentations by the Heads of Schools highlighted their achievements and goals. The Minister commended the constructive dialogue and expressed confidence in their leadership for the year ahead.
Meetings like these will now take place at the end of each school term to review progress, address challenges, and assess how goals are being managed.
Additionally, divisional and senior education officers provided updates on their achievements in 2024 and shared plans to further improve student and teacher welfare across their divisions.
As schools prepare to open next week, the Honorable Minister extended his best wishes to all Heads of Schools and reaffirmed his high expectations for their leadership in 2025.
