BEST OF LUCK TO ALL YEAR 8 STUDENTS
The Acting Minister for Education, Honourable Alitia Bainivalu together with the Assistant Minister, Honourable Iliesa Vanawalu convey their best wishes to all the
Year 8 students for the upcoming External Examination tomorrow.
“I extend my heartfelt best wishes to each one of you as you prepare for your external examination tomorrow. This examination will not only be a medium to test your knowledge and skills but will also be a testament of your hard work, commitment and perseverance,” said Hon. Bainivalu.
“Exam preparation can be a combination of emotions, excitement, and anticipation but I wish to remind all Year 8 students to have faith in what you have studied and remember that this examination is just a part of your educational journey. You will encounter numerous challenges on your path of success and must remain stead fast with you dedication and effort towards your studies.”
The Acting Minister also requests all parents, guardians and teachers to provide the necessary support to help students stay focused during the examination period.
The Assistant Minister for Education, Hon. Iliesa Vanawalu stated, “You must continue to trust in your abilities and believe in yourself. Stay calm and remain confident. I urge all the Year 8 students to be resilient and determined during the examination.”
“I also take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to all the hard-working teachers, Heads of Schools, support staff, parents and guardians for their invaluable support, dedication, and commitment in preparing our students for this important phase of their academic journey,” the Assistant Minister added.
A total of 19,359 Year 8 students are registered to sit for Fiji Year 8 Examination in 717 centres across the country from Tuesday, 24 September to Thursday, 26 September. This includes 2 new exam centres.
