Greetings from the IT Unit of the Ministry of Education

The IT Unit in the Ministry of Education (MoE) is responsible for managing and implementing technological solutions to enhance educational processes and administrative functions in Early Childhood, Primary, Special and Inclusive Education and Secondary Schools in Fiji.

This Unit manages the major applications/ IT systems of MoE including:

• Fiji Education Management Information System (FEMIS)
• Fiji Education Staffing Appointment (FESA)
• Website
• Parents portal
• FEMIS phone app

Together with this the IT Unit assists in procurement and maintenance of computer hardware and software. We also provide training and support on how to use IT effectively. We work with other sections within MoE to automate business processes and enhance customer service. The IT Unit also provides customized data requests to stakeholders for improved decision-making.
