The role of Corporate Services is to provision a set of critical support services to enable the Ministry to successfully deliver on its education service delivery KPI’s. The Corporate services department compromises of three sub departments – Finance, ICT and Assets & Infrastructure services.
The department ensures rigid corporate governance structures are in place and facilitates continuous business improvement initiatives through the rollout of suitable technologies. Having a resilient infrastructure that is able to withstand the catastrophic impacts of climate change is very crucial and another key role of the department is to ensure that our capital program initiatives ensures all our schooling infrastructure are conducive to learning, teaching and to the modern day building requirements.
Under its finance arm, the department develops and executes the Ministry’s financial strategy aligning with its mission and vision while ensuring prudent financial management.
