The Minister for Education, Honourable Aseri Radrodro, continued his first round of visits to Lomaiviti schools on Koro Island with a visit to Nacamaki District School, the fourth school visited on the island.

The Honourable Minister acknowledged the teachers’ dedication and commitment, thanking them for answering the Ministry’s call to serve in remote maritime schools like Nacamaki, and for their role in shaping the future of Fijian children. There were talanoa sessions with teachers and parents, where the Minister listened to their challenges and shared guidance on how the Ministry can provide support.

To further support learning, the Honourable Minister handed over library resources, ensuring students have access to books and materials that enhance literacy and education outcomes.

The visit also highlighted the journey to reach Nacamaki, navigating rough island roads, reflecting the Ministry’s commitment to bringing quality education to every child, no matter how remote.
