The Hon. Minister acknowledged the difficult transport situation faced by these schools and said the boats will help students travel safely and more easily when Term 3 begins after the school break. He advised the Head Teacher and School Manager to take good care of the boats and engines so they continue to benefit the students.
This support is part of the Ministryโs work to make sure children in remote and island schools have safe and reliable access to education.
