In a historic milestone, the Ministry of Education’s first official choir comprising school heads, teachers, and Ministry staff will perform at the 2025 Methodist Church Conference (Bose ko Viti).

With the support of the Honourable Minister for Education, who has also actively participated in rehearsals, the choir has been preparing for several weeks under the direction of choir conductors Mr. Meli Vasua and Mr. Apenisa Nodrayaco. Ministry of Education staff also voluntarily contributed funds to support the conference.

The two songs to be performed tomorrow are:

β€’ Main song: Kaci ko Jisu

β€’ Second song: Malie- na Kalou sa tiko vata kei keda

The Ministry is proud to support this initiative, which reflects the values of unity, service, and the strengthening of partnerships between education and the wider community.

The Ministry looks forward to proudly presenting these two songs at the main conference program tomorrow.
