The Ministry of Education, through TSLS, is offering fully funded Micro Qualification grants for Fijians to gain quick, practical skills for jobs and entrepreneurship.

🌟 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻?

A short, competency-based training (150–160 hours) designed to meet urgent labour market needs and provide pathways for employment or self-employment.

💰 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱?

• $500–$600 per person (depending on course)

• Training is free for successful applicants

• On completion, learners will receive nationally recognised certification

• Traditional Handicraft (Wood Carving, Tapa/Masi, Weaving) – 𝟯𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀

• Performing Arts (Dance & Song) – 𝟮𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀

• Women in Small Business (Bookkeeping & Marketing) – 𝟮𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀

• Construction (Tile Laying, Painting, Plumbing, Joinery, etc.) – 𝟯𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀

• Automotive (Panel Beating, Painting) – 𝟯𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀

• Community Tailoring (Sewing) – 𝟯𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀

• Vocational Literacy & Numeracy (for early school leavers) – 𝟭,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀

• Fiji citizens (resident in Fiji 3+ years)

• 17 years and above

• Unemployed at the time of training

• Must apply through TSLS via a recognised TVET provider
