Ratu Sukuna Memorial School (RSMS) yesterday commemorated its 65th Blue Sapphire Anniversary with a celebration held at Ratu Sukuna Park, officiated by His Excellency the President of the Republic of Fiji, Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu.

The celebration was honoured by the presence of His Excellency the President of the Republic of Fiji, Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu, alongside the Chairman of the Bose Levu Vakaturaga, Ratu Viliame Seruvakula; the Turaga na Tui Namosi; the Honourable Minister for Education; the Assistant Minister for Finance; and the Permanent Secretary for Education and other Honourable Cabinet Ministers, whose attendance added great significance to the celebration.

Since its establishment in 1960, RSMS has evolved into a leading institution that not only nurtures academic success but also instills the values of service, respect, and cultural heritage that reflect the vision of its namesake, Ratu Sir Lala Sukuna.

The Ministry of Education commends RSMS for its sustained commitment to developing responsible citizens and leaders who contribute positively to the nation’s growth. This milestone is a reminder of the enduring role schools play in shaping Fiji’s future.
