The Ministry of Education held its first staff Talanoa session today with the Minister for Education, Honourable Aseri Radrodro. Heads of Schools from the Central Division also attended the session.
The Talanoa provided a chance for staff and school heads to share their thoughts on Ministry operations, policies, and processes. It was also a space for open discussion, where questions were raised and ideas were shared.
In his address, the Minister thanked all staff for their hard work and reminded everyone of the importance of teamwork and unity. He spoke about the Ministryโs vision to give every child in Fiji access to quality education, and the need to stay committed to values such as respect, integrity, accountability, and teamwork.
He also highlighted the Ministryโs efforts to improve its performance through the Fiji Business Excellence Awards (FBEA) process and the use of the 5S system to improve workplace organisation.
The session encouraged staff and school leaders to continue working together to build a stronger, more efficient Ministry. It also showed the importance of listening to each other and moving forward as one team.
