EDUCATION MINISTER ENCOURAGES EDUCATION LEADERS TO BE AMBASSADORS OF CHANGE

The Minister for Education, Honourable Aseri Radrodro, today officiated at the closing of the Future Leaders Trainers Training workshop. In his address, Hon. Radrodro emphasized the importance of building leadership capacity across all levels of the education system, from the Ministry to the schools.

The three-day workshop brought together school heads and Ministry officials in an intensive program designed to equip them with the tools and confidence to become effective trainers and mentors. Hon. Radrodro urged participants to take on the responsibility of developing other aspiring leaders, he encouraged school heads to train their heads of departments (HODs), and for Ministry officials to identify and nurture capable individuals within their divisions. He acknowledged the valuable partnership with the Australian Government through the Australia-Fiji Education Program.

Hon. Radrodro expressed his trust in the participants, noting that the rich discussions, presentations, and shared experiences over the past three days have prepared them well. He affirmed that they are now ready to serve as catalysts for change, empowered to lead, to train, and to inspire the next generation of educational leaders.
