The Minister for Education, Hon. Aseri Radrodro, officiated the closing ceremony of the Seaqaqa Primary School Carnival, which was held over four days to raise funds for important school upgrades.
In his speech, Hon. Radrodro spoke about the carnival’s theme, “Unity Leads to Progress,” stressing the importance of working together and supporting one another to achieve common goals. He thanked the school and the Seaqaqa community for organizing a successful event that will help improve the school’s facilities, including upgrading the school grounds, building a waiting shed, and renovating classrooms.
The Minister also emphasized the government’s ongoing efforts to improve education, mentioning initiatives like the Free Education Grant (FEG), Transport Assistance, and Back to School Support for eligible families. Hon. Radrodro encouraged parents, guardians, and teachers to continue supporting students academic growth.
The Minister concluded by thanking the school management, the Seaqaqa community, and everyone who helped make the carnival a success. He wished all a Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2025.
The carnival brought together the whole school community of Seaqaqa, including teachers, students, parents, guardians, and local supporters, showing how important community involvement is in improving education and development in the area.
