MINISTER FOR EDUCATION HON. RADRODRO RECOGNIZES STUDENT SUCCESS AT CMF COLLEGE ANNUAL PRIZE GIVING CEREMONY & YEAR 13 GRADUATION
The Minister for Education, Hon. Radrodro, officiated at the Annual Prize-Giving Ceremony at CMF College.
Hon. Radrodro highlighted the significance of the event, emphasizing that it was a day to reflect on the successes of 2024 and celebrate the hard work and achievements of the students and teachers.
The Minister also took the opportunity to remind students about the challenges posed by technology and social media, urging them to stay focused on their studies and use these tools responsibly.
The annual prize-giving ceremony also recognized students graduating with Micro Qualifications. Hon. Radrodro congratulated them, expressing pride in the skills they have acquired, which are highly relevant to Fiji’s TVET industry.
The Minister extended his heartfelt thanks to the parents, guardians, and teachers who play a crucial role in the students’ success. “Your commitment and support are vital in shaping the future of our children,” he said. “Continue to guide them with good values, discipline, and respect.”
Hon. Radrodro also addressed concerns regarding recent exam results, particularly the high number of students failing the Year 8 Examination. He urged parents, guardians, and teachers to collaborate with the Ministry to support students, motivate them, and help them reach their full potential.
