The Acting Permanent Secretary for Education, Ratu Meli Nacuva, officially handed over mobile radio broadcasting equipment to the Fiji Broadcasting Corporation (FBC). This equipment, provided by UNESCO, aims to improve media capabilities in Fiji for better reporting on critical issues like climate change and disaster management.

This collaboration highlights UNESCO’s commitment to strengthening media in the Pacific region, enabling journalists to better serve their communities during crises.

The Ministry of Education thanked UNESCO for its support and congratulates FBC on this significant addition to their resources.
