Today, the Minister for Education, Hon. Aseri Radrodro completed his visitation to the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Kensington, Sydney.
Hon. Radrodro met with Senior Faculty Staff of UNSW and discussed issues on
research partnership, entrepreneurial start ups program, improvements in areas of digital learning, review of curriculum and improvement of Education infrastructure.
Deliberations also focused on global issues such as climate change and way forward through innovative design on renewable energy and resilience in infrastructure.
The Highlight of the meeting with faculty members is the cost sharing of the PhD Programme between TSLS and UNSW.
TSLS will now provide for allowance such as traveling expenses and accommodation whilst UNSW to provide tuition for PhD programmes.
The Education Minister was also honoured to meet and greet the TSLS sponsored Students studying at UNSW and discussed issues such as student welfare, need for counseling services and policy changes pertaining to bonding period.
