The Minister for Education, Hon. Aseri Radrodro, yesterday visited Sigatoka Methodist College.
Speaking to the teachers, the Hon. Minister emphasized the need for teachers to work together in addressing challenges faced in education today, including drug use, teenage pregnancy, and school dropouts. He reminded educators that beyond teaching subjects, schools also play a vital role in guiding, supporting, and mentoring students as they face lifeβs challenges.
The Hon. Minister acknowledged the dedication of teachers at Sigatoka Methodist College and commended them for their ongoing commitment to ensuring that every child receives not only academic knowledge but also the values, care, and encouragement needed to reach their full potential.
