The Ministry of Education today officially welcomed Mr Navin Raj, the newly appointed Permanent Secretary for Education.
Permanent Secretary Mr Raj brings with him a wealth of experience in the education sector, including many years of service as a teacher and Head of School. His extensive experience in educational leadership reflects a deep commitment to improving learning outcomes for all students in Fiji.
In his keynote address, Mr Raj spoke of his strong drive for education and his desire to work closely with Ministry staff to identify areas for improvement and deliver better outcomes for students, teachers, and schools across the country.
The Ministry also extends heartfelt thanks to the outgoing Acting Permanent Secretary, Ratu Meli Nacuva, for his dedicated leadership and service during his tenure.
As Mr Raj takes up his new role, the Ministry looks forward to a strong new chapter in Fijian education under his leadership.
