The Ministry of Education officially opened its Annual Planning Workshop. This important event brings together education planners and strategic partners to shape the Ministryโs direction for the ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฑโ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ฃ๐๐๐๐ก ๐ฎ๐๐๐ง ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐ฎ๐ค๐ฃ๐. The workshop was formally opened by the Acting Permanent Secretary for Education, Mr. Ratu Meli Nacuva, who delivered the keynote address.
Participants will work collaboratively to finalise the ๐ผ๐ฃ๐ฃ๐ช๐๐ก ๐พ๐ค๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ง๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ๐๐ก ๐๐ก๐๐ฃ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฑโ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ฃ๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐ฉ๐ง๐๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ก๐๐ฃ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฑโ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ต, both of which align with Fijiโs National Development Plan (NDP) and the principles of the ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฏ ๐ฟ๐๐ฃ๐๐ง๐๐ช ๐ฟ๐๐๐ก๐๐ง๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ. Mr. Nacuva emphasised the ๐ฃ๐๐๐ ๐๐ค๐ง ๐๐ซ๐๐๐๐ฃ๐๐-๐๐๐จ๐๐ ๐ฅ๐ก๐๐ฃ๐ฃ๐๐ฃ๐, ๐๐๐ก๐ก๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ค๐ฃ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐ช๐จ๐ ๐ค๐ ๐จ๐๐๐ค๐ค๐ก ๐๐ช๐๐๐ฉ๐จ, ๐๐ฃ๐ง๐ค๐ก๐ข๐๐ฃ๐ฉ ๐๐๐ฉ๐, ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ค๐ข๐ข๐ช๐ฃ๐๐ฉ๐ฎ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐ค ๐๐ฃ๐๐ค๐ง๐ข ๐๐๐๐๐จ๐๐ค๐ฃ๐จ. He encouraged participants to consider the ๐ฃ๐๐๐๐จ ๐ค๐ ๐ก๐๐๐ง๐ฃ๐๐ง๐จ ๐ฌ๐๐ฉ๐ ๐๐๐จ๐๐๐๐ก๐๐ฉ๐๐๐จ, ๐จ๐ฉ๐ช๐๐๐ฃ๐ฉ๐จ ๐๐ง๐ค๐ข ๐ง๐๐ข๐ค๐ฉ๐ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ข๐๐ง๐๐ฉ๐๐ข๐ ๐ง๐๐๐๐ค๐ฃ๐จ, ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ค๐จ๐ ๐๐ฉ ๐ง๐๐จ๐ ๐ค๐ ๐๐ง๐ค๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ค๐ช๐ฉ.
The Acting Permanent Secretary also acknowledged the ๐จ๐ช๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ค๐ง๐ฉ ๐ค๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐ก๐ค๐๐๐ก ๐๐๐ง๐ฉ๐ฃ๐๐ง๐จ๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐ค๐ง ๐๐๐ช๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ (๐๐๐) and the contributions of the ๐๐๐ช๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ ๐๐ฉ๐ง๐๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ก๐๐ฃ ๐พ๐ค๐ฃ๐จ๐ช๐ก๐ฉ๐๐ฃ๐ฉ๐จ, as well as the dedicated organising committee for coordinating the event. The 4-day workshop is expected to produce key strategies that will guide education reform and resource allocation in the coming years.
