The Director, Finance is a leadership position that plays a role in planning and implementing procedural reforms that strengthened financial processes in education administration and management. This key management position manages the transparent budgeting, receipts, expenditure, and acquittal of all Ministry’s funds, by all Ministry units, in accordance with the Financial Rules and Regulations. The position also provides strategic advice on financial planning, budget management, cost-benefit analysis, forecasting needs and the securing of sufficient funding to meet operational costs and support new initiatives of the Ministry. The position leads the development and management of responsive, compliant, and effective financial capacity.

The Finance Department overall develops and executes the Ministry’s financial strategy aligning with its mission and vision while ensuring transparency and prudent financial management.
