The Director looks after the overall operations of the Assets and Infrastructure Services department and its staff.  He is responsible in aligning the work of the department to MEHA’s overall objectives and Strategic Plan and enhance internal and external stakeholder relationships including those with NGOs.

 Mr. Prasad looks after Capital Projects. He is responsible for improvement of government schools’ infrastructure, MEHA government institutions and new construction projects under donor funding.

 Mr. Waqa is responsible for implementing all WASH upgrading and new projects. He provides technical assistance to schools, facilitates payment of school lease premiums for new leases and renewal of leases. Maintains the Ministry NAMF data on FEMIS, manages the Annual Asset Survey of all Ministry assets and manages building grant applications. He looks after boats assistance for schools and is responsible for disaster response planning – before, during and after natural disaster.

Ms. Lala provides administrative and logistics support to the Director, Assets and Infrastructure Services.

Ms. Karavaki is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient operations of the Assets and Infrastructure Services and compiling and submitting relevant documents for processing of payments to Accounts Section.

Mr. Azhar is responsible for providing timely and efficient delivery of mails for the department and for assisting the office in the administrative and other works.

DRIVER

MR. PO’ALOI FIFITA LASIKE

Mr. Lasike is responsible for providing transportation needs for the officers and ensures that the vehicles are kept in safe and hygienic conditions for use. He is responsible for ensuring vehicles are maintained and serviced in a timely manner

Ms. Tuinakelo is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient operations of the Assets and Infrastructure Services department and assists in the Establishment and Registration/ Recognition of Schools in Fiji.
