Honourable Aseri Radrodro, officially opened the Sangam Heads of School and Management Seminar today.

The event brought together Heads of Schools, School Management Boards, and representatives from the TISI Sangam to discuss and strengthen school-community partnerships.

Honourable Radrodro thanked the TISI Executive Committee for organising the seminar, describing it as a vital platform to empower education stakeholders and foster collaboration across Fiji’s school system.

The Hon.Minister highlighted the seminar’s theme, β€œShaping the Future: Strengthening School-Community Partnership”, emphasizing the critical role of Heads of Schools, Management Boards, and teachers in providing the best for students. He reiterated the Ministry’s commitment to collaboration, consultation, and practical support for schools through the District and Divisional Education Officers.

Honourable Radrodro also emphasised the key role of Heads of Schools as leaders who inspire and guide teachers, students, and Management Boards. He encouraged consistent monitoring of student and teacher performance, accurate use of the Fiji Education Management Information System (FEMIS), and strong school-community partnerships to ensure the success of all schools.

In his closing remarks, the Education Minister expressed hope that the seminar discussions would empower participants and strengthen collaboration across schools, concluding with best wishes for a successful academic year.
