The Honourable Minister for Education, Mr. Aseri Radrodro, visited Kade Village School on Koro Island yesterday as part of his tour to schools across the island.
In his address to the students, Minister Radrodro encouraged them to study hard, plan their future, and strive to become someone meaningful in life. He urged students to listen to their parents and teachers, avoid drugs, and refrain from bullying.
The Minister also acknowledged the dedication of the schoolβs teachers and the supportive role of parents. He encouraged parents to actively engage in their childrenβs education, ask about their schoolwork, check homework, and spend quality family time together.
As part of his visit, the Minister also handed over new library resources to support studentsβ learning and encourage a stronger reading culture.
This visit reflects the Ministry of Educationβs commitment to providing quality education for all Fijian students, including those in remote maritime schools like Kade Village School.
