The Ministry of Education held its Quarter 4 Thanksgiving Church Service on Sunday, 13 July 2025, at Valelevu Methodist Church.

The service was hosted by Assemblies of God High School and Assemblies of God Primary School. In attendance were the Minister for Education, Hon. Aseri Radrodro, Rev. Dr. Mosese Salusalu (Circuit Resident Minister for Valelevu Methodist Church), Waisele Serevi, along with Ministry staff, school heads, teachers, parents, and students.

The purpose of the service was to give thanks to God for the progress made throughout the quarter and to seek His continued guidance for the work ahead. This quarter’s theme, β€œFaithful Stewardship for a Brighter Future,” signifies importance of servant leadership and unity across the education sector.

The service also included a powerful sermon delivered by Rev. Pritam Singh, Assistant General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God in Fiji. He encouraged the congregation to remain steadfast and serve selflessly. Attendees were reminded to continually rely on God’s strength to endure the external and internal pressures that come with their calling in the Ministry of Education.

The Education Minister acknowledged the unwavering dedication of education professionals across the country and encouraged all present to continue their work with renewed faith, energy, and commitment as the final quarter of the year begins.

The word of encouragement shared during the service reminded everyone of God’s omnipotence (His all-powerful nature) and omnipresence (that He is always with us). The message encouraged the Ministry and all present that while challenges may come, we can overcome through God’s strength and presence.

The Ministry extends its sincere thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to the service, and look forward to the next thanksgiving gathering to reflect on further growth and celebrate godly guidance over the work of the Ministry.
