The Honourable Aseri Radrodro, Minister for Education, addressed the ancillary staff of Nasinu Secondary School this morning during their formal induction program, commending them for their commitment and encouraging them to see their work as an essential part of the nationโs educational mission.
Held under the theme โTogether, Scaling New Heights,โ the induction brought together the school’s support staff for a dedicated session focused on professional growth, workplace ethics, and their role within the school community. The program included guidance on civil service conduct, responsibilities, budgeting, and service excellence, all aimed at strengthening the backbone of school operations.
Drawing from his own life experiences, Hon. Radrodro spoke in a heartfelt manner about the value of teamwork and the deep impact that every member of a school, from the classroom to the front office can have on a childโs success. He encouraged the trainees to take ownership of their roles, knowing that their work contributes to a safe and supportive learning environment.
This, he emphasized, directly aligns with the Ministry of Educationโs broader mission, to build a system where every child has the opportunity to thrive not just academically, but in a space where they feel supported and cared for.
Hon. Radrodro also thanked the Head of School, Board Members, and the entire team for making the event possible, and reminded the trainees that their dedication is not only valued but essential to achieving Fijiโs education goals.
