“As we stand on the brink of a new term, I wish to extend my warmest best wishes to all students and teachers,” stated Hon. Radrodro. “Term 2 is the most crucial part of the academic year, as it involves intensive syllabus coverage, the completion of Years 12 and 13 subject projects, and preparation for external examinations.”

The Education Minister reminded students that Term 2 offers an opportunity to build upon the knowledge and skills acquired in Term 1. โ€œEmbrace the challenges ahead, engage actively in your studies, and remember that the effort you put forth now will shape your future,โ€ he said.

Hon. Radrodro also encouraged students to seek support when needed and take full advantage of the academic and welfare assistance provided by the government.

“To our teachers, your passion for teaching and tireless dedication form the backbone of a childโ€™s success. As you guide students through this pivotal term, I urge you to inspire curiosity, creativity, and resilience in your classrooms.”

“Your role extends beyond academic instruction, you are mentors and role models whose influence shapes the values and attitudes of our youth.”

The Minister further highlighted the importance of parental and guardian involvement in a childโ€™s learning journey. โ€œYour encouragement, guidance, and communication with teachers form a strong partnership that reinforces the importance of education in our childrenโ€™s lives. Continue to engage with and support their ambitions.โ€

In addition to academic demands, Hon. Radrodro noted that Term 2 also includes a wide range of extracurricular activities such as Cadet training and inter-school sports competitions. “Students are encouraged to participate in these activities, but must also learn to balance their academic responsibilities with discipline and time management.”

Teachers returned to their respective schools for preparation earlier today (Monday, 19/05), and students will begin classes tomorrow (Tuesday, 20/05).

Wishing everyone a productive, enriching, and fulfilling Term 2.
