MINISTER FOR EDUCATION APPLAUDS YOUNG TALENT AT TAILEVU ZONE CHAMPIONSHIP FINALE

Minister for Education Hon. Aseri Radrodro officiated the closing of the 2025 Tailevu Zone Athletics Championship at HFC Stadium, applauding the sportsmanship and dedication of over 800 student athletes. He encouraged students to stay focused as they prepare for the Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics Competition and emphasized the value of sports in building character and leadership.

Hon. Radrodro reaffirmed the Ministry’s support for holistic education and extracurricular development, while cautioning against the commercialization of student-athletes. He congratulated QVS and Tailevu North College for winning the boys and girls division titles, and recognized the Blue Ribbon champions from RKS and Tailevu North. He also thanked all those involved for their support and urged students to continue being proud ambassadors of their schools.
